Okay, I just looked here and realized I had forgotten to put my own results in.

My chronological age is 63.5 and my RealAge (according to this fun quiz) is

58.9. Not a lot to brag about, considering I'm a vegetarian, but hey there are

other factors ;=)

Happy continued weekend.

Pat ;=)

That's great ;=) Congratulations - and congrats on being the first to share!

And it's really easy to improve one's RealAge too - I know because I took it a

while ago when I was really really immobile (after an accident) and not eating

etc. as well as I normally do and taking prescription and over the counter

meds for the pain. My RealAge then was something like 73 (I am 63.5yrs old)

and now as I say in another post it's down to 58.9. whatever this means! *lol*

Fun, eh?

Best,

Pat ;=)

I

just took the test, and my actual age is 21, but my real age was 18 – I think

that is pretty good!

I am 42, and my real age is 40 accourding to this test. I took this test almost a year ago and with the lifestyle changes I have made, I have gone from my age of 42, and last year when I took the test it said my real age was 47! I have gained 7 years of my life back with the changes I have made! *L* Woohoo!

Nancy...who's lost 63 lbs as of today!

Fantastic news, Nancy! 63 pounds is a wonderful weight loss - I imagine you

must be floating on air with pride and excitement! And congratulations, too, on

gaining 7 years of your life back!! What a wonderful way to think of it!

Would you like to let us know what some of your lifestyle changes were? Was

it exercise and a weight-loss diet, a change to vegetarianism, or what? You

don't have to tell us, but we'd sure like to know!!!

Best,

Pat ;=)

Hi Pat...

I'd be happy to share what I did to make a difference. Was already a vegetarian, but was a "convienient veggie"...made most of my stuff from mixes and boxes. I cut out all processed foods, sugar, empty carbs, and moved to low sodium, added 4-6 days of 30 minute cardio workouts of various forms (water, low impact step classes, dance, cardio machines like treadmills and spinner, rowing machines, etc.) , and three days a week of strength training or low weights but high reps. I also joined an support group for people with eating disorders and learned the reasons I overate (bingeing) and delt with them. I can honestly say, food no longer has a hold on me..and yes, I am floating on air!

That's serious dedication to a cause - good for you!

I'm just blown away by your stick-to-it-edness :=) How

long has the whole thing taken. Not that these things

can be or should be measured in terms of time, except

to say that long range commitments are usually habit

forming ;=) But just curious.

Best,

Pat ;=)

Hi Pat....

I was doing this since last fall, but got really serious about it in January. Thats when I started to attend my support group. I know its a lot of weight for such a short amount of time, but I was a serious sugar addict and just cutting that out I lost a lot to start with and am losing between 1-3 lbs a week now. I've also had my blood monitored during this whole time and my workouts are at a medically supervised Heart Health Center, so I can be sure that I do everything properly.

Hi Nancy,

I replied to this yesterday, but note that it hasn't shown up anywhere - where

on earth (or, more correctly, in cyberspace) could it be?Never mind. I was just

congratulating you again on a fantastic job - for weight-loss, health *and*

fitness. That's awesome ;=)

Best love,

Pat ;=)
