Guest guest
Okay, was wondering about this, so thought I'd make it the Question of the Week (even if there's not one every week, right? *lol*): What do you like for a pick-me-up? When I'm feeling a little tired, low, whatever, I generally start thinking a nice cup of tea (okay, it's cultural, I know), but if that doesn't appeal, I tend to hit one of those sparkly B-Vitamin tablets you dissolve in a glass of water. Tastes good, is quick, and gives me enough zing in a matter of minutes to get the kettle on for the tea - or to go for a walk! How about you? Something to drink, to eat, what??? Best, Pat ;=)
Guest guest
I am new to this whole thing, so I don't respond to any questions usually just read and pick up on things that I didn't know about as far as being vegetarian goes. I have only been vegetarian for a year and a half so I am still learning as I go. Although I wouldn't change my "new and improved" lifestyle for anything! For a quick pick me up...I usually eat a spoonful of peanut butter and take a quick run even if its only just enough to break a sweat,...maybe 10 minutes worth. Makes me feel much more energetic. And when I try to do 2, 10 minute runs a day it starts to add up over a period of time and then not only am I energized, I am slimming down as well for those summer clothes Jamieveggiehound <veggiehound wrote: Okay, was wondering about this, so thought I'd make it the Question of the Week (even if there's not one every week, right? *lol*):What do you like for a pick-me-up? My only problem is that I am quickly becoming a peanut butter-aholic! If I don't get out of the house for a quick walk right after my spoonful of peanut butter I just know (from experience) that I'd have to have another spoonful so I try to grab it as I'm walking out the door to have my walk. My husband says that everyone I pass on the way must smell the peanut butter. I say, " Who cares! I LOVE the smell " and of course the taste. Guest guest
I just read something in a juicing book about p.b. cravings. I'll look it up when I finish in the yard. pj Paula Johnson blkntan - >> For a quick pick me up...I usually eat a spoonful of peanut butter and take a quick
