Hi Jamie, No I don't have one that I have recently *tried* cuz I rarely make pastry (watching the wretched waistline! :=( and yet some things non-pastry have as many or more calories *lol*) - But I can offer you a rather nice Shepherdess Pie recipe, if you like. Mashed potatoes on top - of course.Best,Pat ;=) , hi, i do i have to look it up. if anyone needs help with anything i am a chef by trade. but what you can do is this. for the crust for one pie. 2 c.flour 1 c shortning 1 t. salt some ice cold water to moisten you need a pastry cutter or 2 forks. cut shortening into flour until it looks like cornmeal. add salt to mix. then add water to make dough. let dough rest for a few min. the filling is i can cream of mushroom soup. 3 c, of mixed veggies. they can be canned for frozen. how ever you wish to prepare them. put cream of mushroom soup into pot add 1/2 can of evaperated milk. add veggies to it. to thicken it you can use either instant mashed potatoes or cornstarch and water. add any seasoning you like. cook for a bit. and set aside. you can also add tvc that is textured vegitable protein to the vegitable mixture. once the you make the crust. add the filling. and make the top. then bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 45 to an hour depending on the oven. before you put it in the oven i would put some type of either egg wash or melted butter or margerine over it. then bake it so it can be nice and brown and that is it. thanks alice Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
