I have two bottles of wine that were given to me over the weekend. One is a

Cabernet Merlot and the other is a Chenin Blanc. Does anyone have any

suggestions on using either for cooking? Any recipes?

thanks,

Jamie

Use the red in tomato/marinara sauce or you can find recipes using it as a

poaching liquid for fruit. Use the white in sauces for seafood or veggies.

(LOL, I almost said chicken). You can also make sangria. Google for recipes.

Heck, DRINK the stuff!! You can use them in marinades & sauces,

dressings....let us know what you end up doing! Beth

But you *did* say 'seafood'. Steady on, my friend, this is a vegetarian list LOL

It was the thought of all that nice wine being boiled away in a pan that upset

you, I know! ;=)

My thought exactly ;=) But if you don't drink - yes, it goes wonderfully in

sauces - or of course you could save it until the holiday season and wrap it up

for gifts.

Best,

Pat ;=)
