Chili a Soup? / was ADMIN: New File Folder in Recipes for Soups Only

Sorry, stupid of me. I missed the point of your question (too harried this

morning). If I were looking in Recipe files - or in recipe books - I'd check

both

Soups and Main Courses and possible Stews for chili. Is that what you mean?

In these Files, Chili is listed with the Main Courses - cuz that's how most

people eat them, I think - although we do it both ways in our household ;=)

 

Is that what you meant? If not, try again. My fingers are working but my brain

is

definitely awol this morning.

LOL, you were right the 1st time... when submitting recipes for soups, does

chili count? Or is it condidered a 'main course'? I'm not always perfectly

clear.

Okayyyy LOL Sure chili counts as soup - if you want. If you're talking about

THIS list, we don't much care cuz even though, say, we are asking for soup

recipes right now, we're not excluding other recipes ;=) How about calling it

Chili Soup? - as distinct from the Chili you'd put on a plate and would be

chunky?

 

No probs anyway. But if I were submitting to another list, that's what I'd do to

make sure everyone understood where I was at.

 

Actually, many stews can be soups too, with a little judicious thinning. In our

house anyway ;=)
