Guest guest
Morgan I really believe that selenium is a great cancer fighter. In fact my urologist was quite adament that I should take it for a healthier prostate and since then I have found that it protects against colon cancer too. I since have found out that Brazil nuts are very rich in selenium, only three are supposed to be your daily requirement. I am also a great believer in green tea. Guest guest
Morgan, do a web search for anything and everything you can find from/about Dr. Lorraine Day. She is a medical doctor, she had cancer, she did have a surgical procedure to remove the very large and very painful tumor on her chest, but she did not submit to the chemo or the radiation - if your body is sick, the LAST thing you want to do is to destroy the immune system. However, she has so much good information. As far as eating, her mainstay was not so much eating, but juicing. Do your research, and read her story. Another doctor who knows her stuff is Hulda Clarke. Read her stuff, too. Jael , " Morgan " <baby.gabrielle@v...> wrote: > Thank you for this info! I will be looking out for brazil nuts. Guest guest
Morgan, sorry to hear about your health problems. I definitely recommend echinacea. I'd also say take the tincture rather than the tablets. It is expensive but worth it. The tincture works straight away and is a more pure form - or so i've heard. I have also been told by a complementary therapy practitioner that you cannot overdose on the stuff. It says you should take it and then have a break but she told me its fine to take it every day. It doesn't have any harmful side effects and you can't over do it. Obviously this is one POV and do check it out but just thought i'd let you know what i was told. Guest guest
Morgan, Pomegranates are powerful antioxidants. There is a Pomegranate Mango 100% juice drink called POM that is wonderful. Pomegranates can be used in a variety of cooking. Pomegranite is said said to be a more powerful antioxidant than green tea, blueberries (and juice) and cranberries (and juice). Guest guest
Thanks, Laura - i will check it out and see if I can find echinacea in that form to take. I have always just drank the tea - not the best way to get the benefits of echinacia, i'm sure ~~Morgan~~ Gabrielle and Faith's momma Pro-Life, Christian, Vegetarian I will speak up for the little ones www.fatspider.com - Laura Moore Saturday, December 18, 2004 4:25 AM Re: cancer fighters Morgan, sorry to hear about your health problems.
