Okay, people, time to stop giggling at paranoid

meat-eaters and sober up! Vegetarianism is serious

stuff, by golly, and so is health. Well, yeah, I guess

it is ;=) So, here's a sobering thought from our

friend at NotMilk:

Best, Pat

> Milk and Tuberculosis

>

> According to Virgil Hulse, M.D. (Author of Mad Cows

> and Milkgate), half of the dairy herds in America

> have cows testing positive for bovine tuberculosis.

> One cow infects another cow with tuberculosis.

>

> Last week (January 10, 2005), America became aware

> of the Michigan hunter who caught bovine

> tuberculosis

> from a deer. The deer most likely ran out of the

> woods

> onto the cow's turf and became infected. This story

> should

> act as a warning to both hunter and dairy consumer.

> Eat

> body parts or drink body fluids from diseased
