Guest guest
At the risk of starting a war here, I must say that everyone has the right to voice/print THEIR opinion on issues. There isn't an issue out there that doesn't have pro and con sights. The trick is NOT to bother visiting these sites or contacting them. You've seen the response you get. It is not worth your time. They aren't going to change their minds...no matter how many folks email them. Just my honest opinion " A mind changed against it's will, is of the same opinion still. Guest guest
Hi, I have actually heard some of this before. I don't think all soy is bad and I use a lot of it, but I do wonder if there isn't some truth to their fears. I use a lot of meat subs, but primarily because we grew up " carnivors " and it is hard to move away from that type of eating. My DH has the hardest time of all. Anyway, the isolated soy protein has bothered me for some time. I don't think isolating things from their natural blend can really be as healthy as when they are in their natural state. I have also read that the soy bean is not healthy to use fresh from its dried form (I think the edamame are probably fine). It probably does bare more research. On the other hand, I think they are overdoing it to encourage banning it altogether. Keta Bhaktin Nicole [countergopi] Monday, February 07, 2005 2:03 PM I need your help..these are EVIL PEOPLE http://www.soyonlineservice.co.nz/home.htm go there.look at their propaganda and email them at:divulge They are so closed minded and obviously paid off by the meat and dairy industry or something. I can't believe this site,it seriously
Guest guest
There maybe something to consider here with the info on this strange site. I bought a soymilk making machine from soyajoy.com and wanted to purchase some dry soybeans to make the milk naturally. So I called the farm that ships dry soybeans across the country. After speaking to him he informed me that not all soybeans are the same. The cattle industry makes food from " Genetically Altered " soybeans which apparently are very different than the soybeans that his farm purchases for planting. He gets his soybeans out of China / Japan. Which he guarantees not to be genetically altered. So maybe there is some major differences in soybeans... I just don't know. My opinion is that I don't think God screwed up the soybean and is trying to kill us vegetarians off..... heheheh Tom Guidry Keta [keta] Tuesday, February 08, 2005 12:12 AM RE: I need your help..these are EVIL PEOPLE Hi, I have actually heard some of this before. Guest guest
Well you know Nicole, increased knowledge never really hurt anyone near as bad as the lack of knowledge. I appreciate you sharing things of interest and passion that you hold dear to your heart. Guest guest
I agree. My allergies to soy come out when I eat the processed soy. I have eaten the Edame with little problems. I will still enjoy it on occasion but I limit it. If you are able to grow a garden perhaps you can grow it yourself. The Asian population eats in its natural state but not a lot of it.
