Guest guest
Well my doctor is amazed that I have droped my total cholesterol from 183 down to 154. My LDL is down from 116 to 86. My doctor says he has never seen such a reduction except in cases where medication was prescribed. I did this on my own. My HDL or good cholerterol went down 7 points but that is because I haven't been exercising. See one more reason to start moving. I was very discouraged that my Triglycerides went from 148 up to 184. the doctor told me not to worry too much about that because of my medabolic problems. He says he has marathon runners who are vegetarians who have levels up over 600. That is just what is normal for them I guess. Well we will be watching that. For your information normal total cholesterol should be under 200. LDL or bad cholesterol should be under 130 preferably under 100. HDL or good cholesterol should be over 40. I need to work on that one. Triglycerides should be under 150. Ok I really need to work on that one. Hope this helps someone out there and also I hope to encourage some of you to exercise. Doctor says at this point my risk of heart attack is low. I am being monitored for heart problems because of my PCOS on insulin resistance. My blood sugars have been perfect lately too. I guess by eating properly I can heal my body somewhat. Kirsten

Guest guest
Let us know the results. BTW My daughter is her regular bouncy self. I snuck some good veggies from the juicer into her juices to help her to recover faster. Kirsten Beth [elmothree2000] Wednesday, February 09, 2005 11:21 PM Re: Lab results. (Long) CONGRATULATIONS! ROFL...you DON'T want to know. I haven't been very good which is why I'm so surprised. Enough already, Beth...shushie...
