My husband has been called in for tests on his liver. He has had

high liver enzymes for a couple of years now. I would like to know

if anyone out there knows of any good cleasing diets or anyother

helpful sugeestions. I do not want to see him packed full of pills

from the doctor. My docotr supports homeopathic remedies if the

problem is not dangerous. If they do not owrk then he will

intervene in nessesary with medications. He has allowed to me to

back off on some of my medications after just 6 weeks on a healthier

diet.

Milk Thistle is a great liver cleanser. I take it regularly. It is pretty

cheap and has no side effects at all. Google it and get more info.

Very helpful I thank you and will look for them in the store. Maybe I will

take them for my triglycerides as well. Someone also told me about Sam E

for mood too any suggestions?

Hi Kirsten,

Get your husband some Milk Thistle, artichoke and dandelion, these are 3 of

the best herbs for the liver, I take them everyday for my liver.

Warmly,

Deborah

I have taken milk thistle as a liver supplement. I don't know about

high liver enzymes, but it is supposed to useful if you are taxing your

liver. I was doing so for a while before I had my hip replacement

surgery - taking a lot of Tylenol because I could not handle NSAIDs, on

top of taking Lipitor.
