Im not on any specific " name " diet. I tried the vegetarian version of South Beach but was constantly hungry. Called the support line and the woman told me South Beach is difficult for many vegetarians. I try and follow many of the guidelines of the Ornish diet because I have heart disease in my family but other then that, I just try and eat healthy. Guest guest
Hello, I am new here but wanted to adress your question. I used a vegetarian version of Weight Watchers and had a lot of sucess on that. The offer enough flexibility and encourage vegetarian meals for all their members. It is a good way to get organized and stay focused. I lost over 100 pounds two years ago and continue with the program now to maintain my weightloss. Good luck on whatever you decide. Guest guest
Not on any specific named diet. I just try to eat as healthy and sensibly as possible. God's Peace, Gayle - veggiehound Tuesday, February 22, 2005 6:43 PM Diets - About Yours A query about who might be on the South Beach diet leads me to ask an obvious question to *ALL* members: If you are on a weight-loss/slimming diet, which one are you currently on? I am assuming, to avoid arguments or difficulty here, that all diets named will be vegetarian or at least vegetarian versions of normally non-vegetarian diets ;=) - okay? Let's hear it! Best, Pat ;=)

Guest guest
Wow Rachael. I would love to see a sample daily plan you used. I have often thought of weight watchers but I need some friends to do it with me. I do have a personal question. What happened to the excess skin that was left over after you lost the weight? Did it shrink away? Do you still have it or did you have it removed surgically. I am feeling pretty down about all of this hanging skin. I have only lost about 25 pounds so far and have had three abdominal surgeries and the skin is stretched out and ugly.
