That's good that you lost weight - congratulations! - but there must be easier ways - or perhaps you were doing the non-vegetarian version. I mention that because a while ago someone (who?) on this list said that they had been told it was very difficult to do the South Beach Diet as a vegetarian - or was that as a vegan? Well, there's also supposed to be a veggie version of the dreaded Atkins diet, but I can't imagine that it would work any miracles.
