Guest guest
Hi out there, I'm looking for some good filling receips to take to work for lunch and to snack on. I find I get hunger around 10:30 and around 3:00. I tried fruit but that does not work sometimes. I need to loose weight and I'm trying to stay away from cheese and fats. Thanks for your help and ideas. Dusty
Guest guest
For the meal portion, try a whole grain pilaf (like barley or whole wheat) with veggies. Whole grains will make you feel fuller, longer, and keep your energy level up longer. Guest guest
Ditto one the water answer..... by all means we are all living a dehydrated life. Your body burns about a gallon a day even without sweating.... from hard work. Drink Up Big Time. Guest guest
I remember when I used to make a big Sunday dinner for my family. We had all the bad foods like fried chicken, etc. Then we would go to the court club and work out. I would play racquetball for 15 minutes and be wiped out. One day my husband recommended we eat tomatores and cucumbers from my garden before going to the court club then eat a bigger meal afterwards. Well, sounded good, so I put plate fulls of the fresh veggies on the table and that is what we ate. After two hours of racquetball, I didn't want to quit. It made a huge difference and the veggies made me full. I was completely satisfied with them. Sam valeriekwinters <valeriekwinters wrote: I found that my body adjusted over time. The first 30 days was rough. Within 60 days I was pretty comfortable. I can now satisfy my hunger with a plate of raw fruit and that would not have satisfied me when I started.
