Guest guest
1) What is your name or what would you like to be called? Rose 2) How old are you (roughly)? 57 3) Where do you live (what country - what town, city or region)? Rural upstate New York, about an hour north of Binghamton. 4) How long have you been a vegetarian/vegan? Don't know exactly, but it's been a few years. 5) What is your favourite (vegetarian) food or meal? Tofu burgers with bulghur and salad. 6) How did you find this group? I searched for vegetarians and weight loss. 7) Is there anything specific you want to get out of the group? Just some mutual support and recipe exchange. 8) Tell us a few of your favourite things. Well, I'm a tarot reader by profession, so that's near and dear to my heart. I also garden organically and raise veggies, flowers and herbs. I follow a rather ecclectic spiritual path which is earth-centered. Rose

Guest guest
Hi, Corey. Thanks for the welcome. Upstate (zone 5) is starting to look like summer's over. The garden has seen better days but no killing frost yet. Pumpkins are very orange, kale is still a beautiful blue-green, sunflowers are just now going past their prime. I figure it will take another two weeks before we have to worry about killing frosts. Leaves, of course, haven't turned yet, but that's only a few weeks away. Although, sumac is bright red.
