Honey VS Molasses

Dear Shell,

 

Thank you for this reference. I would never have guess that..and have always

wondered what to sub in for honey.

Nooo not at all! I just wanted to pass along a substitute that I've tried

before. I never tried brown rice syrup as a substitute and I'm going to. That

sounds like it would be great too!

 

I made a tray of those Carob Coated Kisses for Christmas Eve. I tasted one

and they are delicious!

Hi Shell and Amy,

 

I usually substitute maple syrup for honey. . .or brown rice syrup or a fruit

juice sweetener that is thick like honey. They all seem to work well, just so

they are liquid! Whenever I post, I try to post a recipe " as written " and then

make the individual changes myself (or make a note of substitutions that would

work). Sorry for not doing this, Shell. I hope I didn't offend you. . .I

didn't mean to.
