Guest guest
>>>Actually LaDonna, the one I have cooks the flax in water and then uses the cooled gel. If I wasn't so busy cooking I would look for it. BL *Just use the ground flaxseeds and added water and bring to a boil. . .or use whole flaxseeds and do the same. The whole flaxseed idea is one that Silverhills uses alot. I use whatever " recipe " (ground or whole seeds) works best for the application. For example, when I make pecan pie I use the ground flax seeds. . .but when I am using the gel for a fruit cake or patties I use the whole seeds and water, cooked, and use the thick gel that results. When you slow down abit from your cooking we'd love your recipe. I think it is amazing how well flaxseeds work. . . Guest guest
Actually, that's probably where I got it from in the first place because I " won " a SilverHills cookbook at a Revelation Seminar about 3 years ago. BL
