Guest guest Posted March 27, 2002 Report Share Posted March 27, 2002 Cashew Quinoa Burgers Source: Recipes of Friendship Cookbook (adapted) 2 cups water 1/4 cup Bragg's Amino Acids 1/4 cup olive oil 2 medium onions 2 cloves garlic 2 Tbsp. yeast flakes 2 cups rolled quinoa flakes 2/3 cup cashews Blend everything, except quinoa and cashews, together until smooth. OR Finely chop onion and garlic. Combine with other ingredients except oats and cashews. Then pour into a saucepan and bring to a boil. After bringing to a boil, sprinkle oats and cashews over. Press down. Remove from heat and let stand 10 minutes. Stir. Drop by tablespoons onto a prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Flip. Bake another 10 minutes.
