Guest guest
Greetings, Does anyone know of a good Internet source for sorgham flour and teff flour? I found them at www.bobsredmill.com, but the shipping is so expensive. I guess what I'm looking for is cheap shipping! I'm still looking around town for these flours, and also bean flour (any kind), but haven't found a source yet. There's an international market I haven't tried yet, so perhaps I'll be able to find them there. Thanks, Christine
Guest guest
I get my sorghum flour at www.twinvalleymills.com. There prices are reasonable and they send you an invoice with the flour to pay for it then. Darlene

I buy whole grain sorghum from Azure Standard (http://www.azurefarm.com). With shipping I pay about $1.00 a pound. I know many use and like Twin Valley Mills sorghum flour. It doesn't work well for me. I haven't been able to make anything that wasn't doughy with just the Twin Valley Mills flour. It works better when I combine it with flour I grind myself. My flour is not as fine because it has not been through any sifting or grading process. Based on my results with a combination of Twin Valley Mills and my own sorghum flour, I recently bought a large fine sifter and will be using it in the future so my flour is the texture that I have good success with now. Teff is expensive. The best price I have found on teff is through the bulk buying club at one of the health food stores where I live. I compared it to buying from Bob's Red Mill and save about $.10 per pound. Teff is very small and many mills will not grind it. I have a little Regal grain mill that the teff just falls through. My whisper mill does a good job grinding teff flour. Joanne
