Guest guest
In Canada they always have Steve so I was a bit surprised when LaDonna said they weren't, but I chalked it up to one of those Canada/US things - smile. BL

Guest guest
I have a package of Boca Original Vegan Burgers here, my SO eats them but I do not because they absolutely are not GF. The first three ingredients listed are " Water, Soy Protein Concentrate, Wheat Gluten.... " Products that contain wheat gluten are not gluten free. At one time Boca Original Vegan burgers were GF, but here in California they have had wheat gluten in them for at least a year. When I've looked for Boca Burgers at WalMart or other grocery stores I have not been able to find any without wheat gluten. Most Boca Burgers are not vegan. Unfortunately Costco carries a product for awhile. . .and then replaces it with something else. I guess we'll enjoy them while we can. Guest guest
Thanks for the " heads up " on the vegan Boca burgers. While at the grocery store this week-end I found a small package of vegan Boca's. They have changed the color of the label. . .and it looks like they have changed the ingredients also. Wheat gluten is now listed as #3 on the label. Bummer! I've found this on another soy product we use (a chicken-like load mix made from soy protein). The latest package I purchased has wheat gluten in it now also. . .but of course they never alert you to that fact on the label. I guess it pays to read the label EACH and EVERY time!
