Guest guest
I am new to the list, I recognize some names from the gfcfrecipes list. I am going to try and buy a cast iron waffle maker and pizzelle maker (old fashioned non-electric over the stove type). Does anyone have any experience with doing gfcf stuff on these?? I also am looking to see if people have success making egg free corn free gfcf noodles?? I want to try to make my own so I'll be ready when we go back to Africa. I definitely want an ice cream maker and am going for the donvier. I already have and use a hand grinder for flour, the big white one, it was expensive, I can't remember the name, but it works well. I also use the cast iron pans, but am thinking about taking a pot with a lid too. And lastly a tortilla press for my flatbreads and a cast iron biscuit pan. I think that should be it. Any other suggestions?????? (must be non-electric and useful for gfcf and non-aluminum). Susan T

Guest guest
I haven't tried making noodles, I just buy GF ones. But I make great waffles... I got one of the GF cook books and use their recipes. There's recipes on celiac.com that are good. We just made tofu non-dairy ice cream in our donvier ice cream maker last night! SUPER duper yummy! :-) Deborah

Does anyone have > any experience with doing gfcf stuff on these?? i use a regular waffle and pancake recipe, but use 3/4 millet flour and 1/4 hagman bean flour mix, and they are *great* I do have to make sure the batter is quite thin so they aren't goopy in the middle. I have a pizzelle maker and keep trying and failing to make ice cream cones. Anyone have advice/recipes? Lynn
