Guest guest
We've grown! Today our Vegan and Gluten Free list welcomes its 200th list member! It's a surprisingly large group for such a limited population of food specialists. Please help us celebrate our growth by posting a favorite vegan and gluten free recipe and/or sending in a comment or question post. Thanks so much for being a part of Vegan and Gluten Free. Sincerely, Your List Moderators PS: Stuck on a recipe to post? How about your favorite fruit, vegetable, or salad " recipe " ?
Guest guest
Being vegan and gluten-free is a challenge - and I am grateful all the wonderful info on this website. Even my vegetarian friends have found it hard to accommodate my diet at holiday potlucks. Even though there are plenty of alternative foods, we sure are creatures of habit and convenience in our society, and most of my vegetarian/vegan friends rely heavily on dairy and/or wheat. So, while shopping and cooking as a vegetarian and even as a vegan has gotten easier over the last 20 years, being vegan and gluten-free has been a challenge, because even health conscious or spiritually minded folks often don't understand the diligence required in being gluten-free, and doctors have not been supportive of my staying vegan while gluten-free, Thanks to all the hard work that has been put into posting the recipes and ideas here. It is very appreciated. Susan
