Guest guest
My wife and I have finally found a vegan mozzarella for pizza. Now we need a crust recipe that is vegan and gluten free. Most of the flours that we have tried have turned out to be atrocious. They turn out either gooey, crumbly, and just plain old bad. Does anyone have a gluten free vegan recipe for pizza crust that tastes good and has a normal pizza crust texture. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matthew ===== Matthew Patterson 603 East Main St. #2 Lexington, KY 40508 859-254-1828 Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Sign up now. http://mailplus. Guest guest
My friend wrote to me (and she's not vegan, so you'll have to adjust, or check the website listed): " And for a GREAT!!!!! pizza crust and various other things like rolls and such, I buy a flour mix at www.chebe.com. They now actually have a pizza crust mix, but I just buy the regular chebe bread flour and follow the directions on the package for making a pizza crust. It's really good. You mix the flour with grated cheddar cheese and whatever other herbs you might want, along with oil, eggs and water... roll it out and bake it. YUM!!! The kids even like it better than regular pizza. I also got one of those great pizza pans with holes in the bottom so it's not a greasy crust... it's not super crunchy, though, either. " Good luck, we're still searching, too, not having ordered online yet. Jo
Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestion about pizza. I checked out chebe.com and the mix contains dry milk. But thanks anyway. Like you said, still looking! ===== Matthew Patterson 603 East Main St. #2 Lexington, KY 40508 859-254-1828 Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Sign up now. http://mailplus. Perhaps you could use that as a base, and add dry or wet soy/rice milk, and some nut. yeast-based cheeze to soften? Good luck. Jo
