Guest guest Posted April 14, 2003 Report Share Posted April 14, 2003 Soybean Souffle' Source: Ten Talents 1 cup dried soybeans 1 quart water Soak overnight --- drain and rinse. Add the same amount of water that was drained off. Liquify the beans and water in blender adding: 1/2 cup tomato puree' 1 fresh onion or onion powder (2 Tbsp.) 2 Tbsp. food yeast 3 - 4 Tbsp. peanut butter Celery salt and/or garlic salt to taste 2 Tbsp. oil 1 tsp. salt to taste 2 Tbsp. soy sauce (gf if necessary) Pour into shallow oiled baking dish and bake for 1 1/4 hours at 325 degrees. Bake at 400 degrees for the first 15 minutes. Let set before serving. Note: If you have soaked soybeans on hand use 2 1/2 cups soaked beans --- 2 cups water plus the rest of ingredients.
