Is it the same stuff you use to make Jams? Do you get it in your health food store or do you have to order it over the 'net.
Guest guest
Nina, it's available at most health food stores. I haven't looked on the net, but it would probably be available there also. There are two types; instant Clear Jel and regular. The instant requires no cooking, so it thickens nicely in cold foods. I use it to make the " Better Than Ice Cream " set up better. Guest guest
Is there a brand name for Clear Jel? Neither one of my hfs's carries it. The one said they could order it, but I have to have the manufacturer info. Also, can someone post the ingredients? My youngest is allergic to many ingredients, so it would be nice to know ahead of time if he can have it or not. Thanks bunches! Cheryl, I believe that Clear Jel is th brand name. Do you know anyone who sells Bosch Kitchen machines? Those dealers (and stores) usually carry Clear Jel and might be able to tell you the ingredients. LaDonna
