Guest guest
STOA - New Vegetarian restaurant & wine bar in Palo Alto Innovative takes on classic European and Mediterranean cuisine, accented with a refreshing streak of Spanish and Asian fusion. Using the best locally grown, fresh produce, the menu varies seasonally. The chefs produce beautiful plates that are matched by an exceptional array of New World wines. Both elegant and comfortable, the wine bar has a lovely lounge atmosphere, with a potbellied stove, gorgeous wooden floor, and modern couches. One of the only late-night dining options in the South Bay. Yoav Gilat STOA 3750 Fabian Way Palo Alto, California 94303, USA. Guest guest
Yoav, please do not post your advertisements as "high" priority e-mails. If you absolutely have to post unsolicited ads to the group, at least use "low" priority. It may be high priority to you, but it is rude to elevate one's priority for other people - in general and especially on the Internet it is very bad "netiquette". Remember, this is the kind of thing that stupid droid spammers do. Guest guest
Hi, Mark! Thanks for your and Yoav's messages. I believe that STOA is the new Meekk's, which was a kosher vegetarian restaurant run by an Israeli woman named Meekk. STOA is not kosher, but still vegetarian, so I don't have a problem with Yoav advertising it on the list; in fact, I'll probably organize a group dinner there in the near future. Take care, Shoshana >please do not post your advertisements as " high " priority e-mails. If you absolutely have to post unsolicited ads to the group, at least use " low " priority. Guest guest
Can food be vegetarian and not kosher? An example please? How about vegan and not kosher? You are breaking my long-held assumption that vegetarian was a proper subset of kosher (and halal). Thanks, Alex F. , Shoshana Bella Billik <shoshana@b...> wrote: > Hi, Mark! Guest guest
Example: Vegetarian or vegan food that uses non-kosher salt is not kosher.
