Vegetarian House restaurant in San Jose has their own branded fortune

cookies--which don't contain eggs.

Fortune cookie recipes include eggs

 

I googled " fortune cookies recipe " and got a bunch of hits. I checked

those recipes (from the first pageful of hits) and found that every one

of them includes eggs or egg whites among the ingredients.

 

Therefore, I'd say that it's a very good bet that fortune cookies

provided by a typical restaurant contain eggs.
