Author " How to Eat Like a Vegetarian Even If You Never Want to be One "

 

12:15 p.m. Vegan Lunch catered by Patricia Allen Koot from Wellness

Central.

 

1:15 p.m. Slides from Animal Place, a Sanctuary for Farm Animals in

Vacaville with Kim Sturla, Director.

 

1:30 p.m. Talk: " Your Diet Can Help Save Your Life and Our World " by

JOHN ROBBINS, Author of DIET FOR A NEW WORLD, HEALTHY AT 100, & others.

 

3:00 p.m. Raffle with wonderful prizes including gift certificates from

the Millennium Vegan Restaurant & other restaurants & organizations

Location: San Jose State University

 

 

 

Features: F.E.P. & SCCAA will be handing out free vegan burgers, cookies

and literature.

Date/Time: Sunday, April 5th, 4 - 6 pm

 

Location: At private home in Mount Hermon (near Felton in the Santa Cruz

Features: The Ethical Culture Society of Silicon Valley is having an

ethical action meeting to educate people about eating a veggie based

diet. Our event is a faux meat tasting, where we will be doing cooking

demonstrations using veggie meat alternatives. We are going to be

preparing a first course, main course, salad course and a dessert.
