It's that time of year when we need to remind shoppers that buying fur is cruel

and sociably unacceptable. We have wonderful leaflets from HSUS for fur in

general and leaflets from PETA that target Burberry. Signs will be provided

also, but feel free to bring your own. Please email me if you are able to

attend either or both locations.

We will be having a fur protest on Friday, November 27 at Santana Row Shopping

Center. We will be demonstrating against Burberry and other stores that sell

fur.

 

What: Fur Free Friday

Where: Santana Row, between Alyssum Lane and Tatum Lane. We will meet in

front of Burberry which is on Santana Row and is the 4th store south of the

Crate & Barrel that is at the corner of Stevens Creek and Santana Row.

When: Friday, November 27 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

 

Following our protest there we will meet again about 1:45 p.m. for lunch at PF

Chang's China Bistro, 900 Stanford Shopping Center, Palo Alto, 650-330-1782 .

Protest will follow at Stanford Shopping Center in front of Neiman Marcus. Some

people may not be able to make it to both protests which will give them the

opportunity to choose which site and what time of day they prefer.

 

What: Fur Free Friday

Where: Stanford Shopping Center, Palo Alto, in front of Neiman Marcus.

Join us for lunch before the protest if able at PF Chang's at about 1:45 p.m.

When: Friday, November 27 between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

 

Parking is bad at both locations so try to carpool and give yourself plenty of

time. At Santana Row some people park across Winchester in the theatre parking

lot. I usually find parking in the far east parking lot at Santana Row. There

are also some medical buildings behind Chevy's that have parking because the

building is closed on Thanksgiving.
