here is my favorite mixture that I use for the quiche mixture and for sweet carrot cakes too

1 sweet yellow pepper, it's very important that the pepper are ripe and sweet and with no bitter back-taste (idealy biological), chopped & steemed or chopped and grilled

1 sweet orange pepper, chopped & steamed or chopped and grilled

2 medium carrots stemed or boiled

1 cup of nuts, hazelnuts, walnuts (grinded) it can be that you like to put just half a cup (and you may vary the proportion of the nuts, more almonds, less nuts etc.)

some oil a fex drops of vinager (best flavour obtained with umeboshi vinager or other fruity vinager)

the vinager is optional anyway

mix well in blender, untill smooth the mixture is delicate and very nice indeed

and mix it with the other quiche filling and add a pinch of herb salt(tofu-onion or onion tomatoes and tofu) or mix with the rest of ingreedients for the carrot cake recipy.

For the quiche the grilled peppers give a more spicy taste to the "yolk mixture" for the sweet cakes (like carrot cakes and sweet potatoes I used the steamed version peppers with a pinch of demerara sugar or date-syrup)

enjoy and let me know if you tried it out

Sorry, I am confused! What are the OTHER quiche fillings that

you mix with the 'yolk'?

Do you mean you mix it with onion, tomatoes and tofu?

The onion and tomatoes would be cooked first then?

thanks

I think the other ingredients are the ones that you would add to the

milk/egg mixture if you were making a 'normal' quiche.
