Guest guest
hi Lori that sounds so yummy. here is something else I thought I would share with the group. this friend of mine told me how at trader joes they were demonstrating dipping pieces of a toasted baguette in this heated up garlic infused olive oil and OMG thats pure decadence. so I had to try it. like I thought it is out of control but if you try it just eat a little it fills you up very fast. another thing I discovered was making garlic pasta with it. just cook up some pasta but its very important to put some salt in the water how much is up to you because dont forget there is none in the oil and when you make garlic bread there is some in the butter or margarine. so after the pasta is cooked toss it with some of that oil, maybe some parmi cheese wow it is just too yummy. one other thing have any of you noticed that ever few years there seems to be diet and food product trends of reducing certain things. I remember years ago it was lower sodium this and that. then more recently its ok lets reduce the fat. the funny thing is in alot of reduced fat products they tend to up the sugar and the sodium content. go figure. now I aint psychic but I saw it coming now the big thing is low carb this and that and they probably gonna up the fat to still keep you unhealthy lol. stay cool, Dave

Wow, it's like they keep you on a continuous cycle of diets and trends. All that money to studies and whatnot and they can't find a proper balance....I don't spend a cent...well not a cent but a commonsense and I manage pretty well, though working out does help very much or at least just keeping active. go figure. now I aint psychic but I saw it coming now the > big thing is low carb this and that and they probably gonna up the > fat to still keep you unhealthy lol. stay cool, Dave Atkins diet. I saw a hilarious skit on Saturday Night Live the other weekend. They goofed on the Atkin dieters because of how much they preach and talk about the dern thing. IT'S TRUE! THEY DO! They aint losing weight because of the diet...they're losing it because they spend so much time talking about it, they don't have time to EAT!!. **wishing i had the transcript** S.
