Guest guest
Often it's a 25¢ fuse that's blown, and is easily replaced, but you have to remove the back cover and that's what scares people. Doesn't scare the repairmen who take " junked " microwaves and make them good as new. For the record, yes, we did indeed replace a blown fuse on a microwave. They resemble car fuses and slip and out the same way. So next time anyone has a microwave stop working, check this first. It may save you hundreds of dollars. Any true god would be so far beyond our scope and so far off our human-sized scale of thought as to be literally unknowable. --Bu Xan Da, Tenshin Monastery

Guest guest
Um... maybe use one of their favorite shirts to wipe it out? *lol* This is not the peaceful action I typically strive for, but it was the very first thought that came to my mind. ~ PT ~ My hour of tea is half-past five and waits for nobody. ~ Wilkie Collins, " Woman in White " ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~> , " dave " <dave4sale> wrote: > i know i'm not the one who brought it up but thanks for this info > regardless... now, any advice on what to do about roommates that > never clean the microwave and leave gobs of grease all over it? Guest guest
Is it your microwave? If so, you could tell them they need to buy their own, since they can't be responsible enough to clean yours after they're done using it. Or you could get new roommates. :-D --- dave <dave4sale wrote: > i know i'm not the one who brought it up but thanks > for this info > regardless... now, any advice on what to do about > roommates that > never clean the microwave and leave gobs of grease > all over it? > > > > Protect your identity with Mail AddressGuard http://antispam./whatsnewfree
Guest guest
I'd rather not contemplate on the origins of the grease.. i just make sure my food is not directly touching the plate... alas, i cannot afford to move. at least not until I find a job that i can stand and gives more than ten cent raises... I saw a salad place was hiring, until I looked at their menu and ever SINGLE item on the menu had meat... hell, even Mc Dahmer's sells a vegan side salad and apple pie. but, enough of my problems. > gosh, i hope they're not leaving gobs of meat grease........that > would be intolerable to me and i'd just have to move!
