Guest guest
If you're eating regular meals it's almost impossible not to get enough protein. Guest guest
Yes, and in case anyone is still confused and wants info on the exact amount you should be shooting for, I have read that an active woman in her prime should be getting close to 40-45 grams of protein a day... men I think need somewhere in the range of 50-60 grams; the need for protein decreases with age and the lessening of activity but these are good numbers to keep in the back of your mind. It is very easy to get this amount, so just read your labels, check portion sizes, and do a bit of math for one day as you eat and you will see that you are likely getting plenty of protein as a vegetarian. ~ PT ~ No man can be called friendless when he has God and the companionship of good books. ~ Elizabeth Barret Browning, poet (1806-1861) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~> , " Jinnie Cracknell " < cyberdestiny_40@h...> wrote: > >Mon, 10 Nov 2003 19:53:34 -0000 > > " Adrien " <adriens_mandolin> > > >Wonder how many times > >one has to eat protein to be safe?
