Siggghhhh. We've been here, Gene, truly. A few of us objected and the

person who appends it as sig vehemently argued for keeping it. I

personally shudder and turn mentally away every time I see it. To avoid

it I would have to switch back to individual emails - which would play

havoc with my intray and is not therefore a starter.

I too object to such signature lines. I would like to know what

would happen if the rest of us put PRO-CHOICE signature lines on our

emails?

I think they should be able to post whatever the hell they want. Of

course, then they should also have to be subjected to counter-

arguments... the " worst form of child abuse " ; clearly this person

has never experienced true child abuse or criminal neglect. Also,

there is a problem with the semantics. " Children " are not aborted.

It is an embryo- not even a fetus, seeing as how no liscensed doctor

will perform " partial birth " abortion- that is aborted. So if they

changed the sig to " abortion- the worst form of embryo abuse " then I

might be inclined to agree, if not for prenatal exposure to alcohol

which can be extremely devastating.

i totally agree with you. the sig line makes no

sense. abortion and child abuse cannot be

compared....they are two different categories.

I know. It irks me too. I was making a point. I have no intention

of using such a signature line and I agree that they are

oh, i didn't mean the pro-choice and proud sig

line....the abortion is child abuse sig line is the
