Guest guest
Hi PT, Vegetarian Slimming is one year old today. Laura started it just after New Year 2003. (Lately she has been unable to run it herself because of illness.) I wonder if I could post a short invite to Feral Vegetarian to join this one-year-old baby on this anniversary day? Something like: " You are invited to join Vegetarian Slimming, which turns one year old today. VegetarianSlimming/ Pat (Moderator) " If you don't think this is appropriate or a good idea for any reason- and I would certainly appreciate your position - just say so or ignore this post. I will quite understand ;=) and no harm done. Guest guest
Welp, you just did! *lol* Really that is quite alright. I think it being the new year and all, and knowing how Laura is such a sweety and a good moderator, I have no problem with posting an invite here to the whole list. I encourage everyone that might know of or host a vegetarian list to put a link to it and a description for it in the link's section of this group. I know there are many wonderful vegetarian lists out there that might be of benefit to people here. ~ PT ~ *proud member of veg-slimming* He should be constitutionally and habitually devotional, so that the blessing of God may be upon him, and what he does, and that he may be conscientious to do what is right and beneficial in the practice of his art. ~ The Herbal Remedies of the Physicians of Myddfai ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~> , Sant & Brown <santbrown@l...> wrote: > Hi PT, > > Vegetarian Slimming is one year old today. Guest guest
You needn't be at all. As I said, it is fine if members post information to alert people of other wonderful veggie groups on , or other places as well. We all need all the help we can get, and no one group is able to meet every person's needs. I feel we are all here to encourage and assist eachother with this form of support. Sharing of other interesting groups is just one way we can do that. Of course, I don't want this list getting hit with invite after invite to other groups, but there is no reason why we can post ocassional info about other lists... maybe once every six onths or so (?), and definately keep a URL with info to it in the file's section for reference. As long as it is vegetarian, it's all good. ~ PT ~ From quiet homes and first beginning, Out to the undiscovered ends, There's nothing worth the wear of winning, But laughter and the love of friends. ~ Hilaire Belloc (1870-1953) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~> , Sant & Brown <santbrown@l...> wrote: > Sheeeesh, I am truly embarrassed ;=( > Best, > Pat
