Hi Jina. Welcome to the list. I wish I had an answer

to your question, but I have not heard of the food

item you asked about. Hopefully someone else here

will have some ideas for you. This list is full of very

friendly and helpful vegetarians.

Have you tried doing a simple search for this dish on

google using the key words " Turkish roasted chickpees

with tofu recipe " ?

Hello, Jina,

My husband is from the Middle East so I am very familiar with roasted

chick peas, (in fact we just bought some last week at our local

International Market – you might want to try that if you have one in

your area, or just a Middle Eastern market) I don’t think they are made

with tofu though.

If you don’t have a local market like that you can find them here, third

and fourth items up from the bottom:

My in-laws usually mix them with a variety of roasted seeds, and they

can be found whenever there is a lazy day full of gossip and

conversation in my in-laws home!

Good luck!

things from there one of which I have been either try'in to find a

recipe for or a place to buy them, any way....they are the roasted

chickpeas, plain roasted with (she said) tofu, I am not sure have

ck'ed everywhere and can't find them so was wondering if any one mite

be able to direct me , or know where i can get a recipe, they are
