The intestinal tract is 22 feet long, much longer than carnivorous animals. Meat will stay in the body for 3 or 4 days decomposing the entire time and sending toxins throughout the body. God how I wish my parents had raised me vegetarian. When they were visiting me here in Germany a few years ago, my mom stupidly said something like, " I bet you'd eat my lasagna. (which is loaded with dead cow) " I told her that she lost that bet. Some people just don't have ANY respect for the choices of another. As George Sand used to say, " The world would be a lot less barbaric if only we were completely vegetarian. " True...how true Phoenix 1sound.com/phoenix

It wasn't until the 4th century CE that " christians " were " allowed " to eat meat by Constantine. He was a real piece of work. Guess what he did with vegetarians.....poured molten lead down their throats because they were heretics. Now that's funny...kill a vegetarian because they refuse to kill. Nice religion. I'm sure Jesus would have approved. Phoenix 1sound.com/phoenix

All I knew was that whenever I ate meat in my past I felt just aweful afterwards; sluggish and sort of just ick. > a few years ago, my mom stupidly said something like, " I > bet you'd eat my lasagna. Meat eaters will say something like, " Well, I bet you'd eat my wonderful blahblahblah dish...nobody can resist it! " Yeah, roight! Well, I sure can. It does amaze me that they believe I must feel deprived or secretly crave the meat when I am unfortunate enough to smell it cooking. ~ PT ~ Natural kindly human instincts, whose earth-born rudiments existing among animals and birds, have come to us from Nature herself. ~ John Cowper Powys, 'Obstinate Cymric'
