I have been a vegetarian since I was 15 years. I am a proud vegetarian and love cooking. I was raised in a family of both vegetarians and meat eaters. Actually, I grew up eating food almost in the raw state as we never used onion-garlic-tomatoes-ginger- cilantro in any of our food. And these all above things are usually the basis of any indian curry. So I guess never had them till I moved to USA :)After moving to USA, I have experimented recipes from all over the world. It is fun to play around with different ingredients all over the world. Isn't it? The kinda food I am lately trying and experimenting is more of " Mediterranean " and " Afghani " food. Also I am experimenting with " South-Indian " food as I am from northern part of India. What are the other things I like. I love DANCING. DANCE is my BIGGEST PASSION in life. Now coming to other things I like are hiking in the wilderness, long drives, music, and volunteering for old people. I also try to keep myself updated with all health & nutrition news. I am a health freak I guess that is good introduction about myself and am really excited to join the " " group not just to know whats going on in the vegetarian world but also to meet like-minded people.
