Guest guest
As instructed, I am introducing myself to all you nice people. My name is Paul (you can call me " Paul " , if you want, you know, for short) and I am a vegan macrobiotic mostly - although I still sometimes slip in some meat (usually fish, which seems less gross somehow) and dairy (penchant for unusual, flavorful cheeses, buttermilk). I believe that animals, by and large, are not for us to eat, wear, or use for entertainment (like PETA says). I have also read up on some of the new evidence supporting the health benefits of a plant-based diet revolving around beans, nuts, whole grains, fruits, and, of course vegetables. I am an enthusiastic but unsophisticated vegetarian cook and would love to share information with any of you about what works, and what doesn't work, in our presumably common quest to enjoy healthful, natural, and delicious vegan cuisine. Latest vegan website: The Meatrix. http://www.themeatrix.com. Peace, Paul
Guest guest
Hey there Paul....great to have you with us. Are there any vegan recipes that you find yourself making over and over that are your favorites? And if so, will you share one or two with us? tia. Guest guest
Welcome to the list, Paul. I just get a kick out of that Meatrix site. I have recommended it to many friends; especially those that still enjoy eating meat. I hope you will share some of your favorite " unsophisticated " vegetarian cooking; that sounds right up our alley! Simple hinterland peasant food just tastes so good. ~ feral ~ Be not afraid of growing slowly; be afraid only of standing still. ~ Chinese proverb ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~> , " Rocket Paul " <pgrohne> wrote: > As instructed, I am introducing myself to all you nice people.
