Guest guest
I am a member of the DNRC as well, and enjoyed Scott Adams' little quip. He also markets a food called the Dilberito, which is a vegetarian burrito. In his book " Dogbert's Clues for the Clueless " it has a couple of pages dedicated to vegetarians or friends of vegetarians. Pretty good stuff. I'll e-mail Mr. Adam's and see if he would mind me scanning the vegan/vegetarian oriented strips and posting them here. Guest guest
As I recall, files don't post straight to the page; you'd have to either list them in a folder on the files link if feral were cool with that or maybe more simply give links to the strips online somewhere. Adams has done some funny things. Did up one of those Thai Kitchen minisoups (like ramen but rice noodles instead), started embellishing it with tamarind, peanuts, lemongrass, etc., and dang it was good. Gonna have to replicate and post a recipe. Nice redecorating, feral :-) , " Kevin Smith " <thatballguy> wrote: > I am a member of the DNRC as well, and enjoyed Scott Adams' little > quip. > > He also markets a food called the Dilberito, which is a vegetarian > burrito. > > In his book " Dogbert's Clues for the Clueless " it has a couple of > pages dedicated to vegetarians or friends of vegetarians. Guest guest
Hey Kevin, have you tried the Dilberito? According to Scott's website, they are supposed to sell them at my school. Unfortunately, from what I can tell, it looks like the store that has them is only accessible to students who live on campus. I'm not really sure how much trouble I'd get in if I tried to sneak into the dorm building... , " Kevin Smith " <thatballguy> wrote: > I am a member of the DNRC as well, and enjoyed Scott Adams' little > quip. > > He also markets a food called the Dilberito, which is a vegetarian > burrito. > > In his book " Dogbert's Clues for the Clueless " it has a couple of > pages dedicated to vegetarians or friends of vegetarians. I am way cool with that. We certainly should have a veggie humor folder in our file's section for folks to put in the funny pics and cartoons they find. I know I would love to see them, and we need to just share all the good stuff with eachother. I think you can share pic files in the files folders~ give it a go and let me know if it works out okay. > > Did up one of those Thai Kitchen minisoups (like ramen but rice > noodles instead), started embellishing it with tamarind, peanuts, > lemongrass, etc., and dang it was good. I know that dark goldenrod #fbb117 is a bit bright, but it matches the color on the pic so well that I couldn't resist. But if folks have a tough time with it being hard on the eyes, I can always tone it down a notch or two. *lol* Oh yeah, and thanks for noticing. *s* ~ feral ~ Become who you are. ~ Nietzsche
