Guest guest
I had steak last week ... BAKED TOFU STEAK that is... heh heh. Hmm... lessee, I decided one day in May 1995 to become a vegetarian and have not eaten anything containing animal flesh since that day (unless someone snuck one by me, like McDonald's and their Beef Flavored Freedom Fries). My wife did it the same way. We both went COLD TURKEY (excuse the intentional pun). We gave away ALL our non-vegetarian food that same day. 2 big boxes full of canned and frozen food that must have cost a lot. It's the only way, IMO, to make any life changing decision. Kind of like getting in the pool. Some folks like to stick a toe in the water, then EASE in gradually. I believe it's better to JUMP IN ALL AT ONCE. Yep. Jump in. Just do it. Guest guest
thats kinda what i did. i just gave meat up altogether because i hardly ate it at home because my fiancee' wont eat any meat except fish. i became a vegetarian also because seeing how some of these animals lived and were treated all for their meat really bothered me. i couldnt find any websites containing what they did to kosher meat but its all the same. its still killing animals which my heart grows bigger for each and every day. so now i drive him crazy because i am stricter then he is lol. when he wants like a fish resturaunt i tell him i highly doubt they have anything for me.. he grips and moans but then goes up to ask if they have anything for me that dosent contain any fish or meat. so he gets over it pretty fast lol. leah Phoenix <phoenix_b3 wrote: Muskrat I did the same thing...ummm...about 14 years ago now. jumped in and thats it. cheers Phoenix SAHM Homeschooling APing Mommy to Tyler -6 Ashleigh - 3 Heather - 15 months visit us at our website! www.geocities.com/phoenix_b3/ Mail SpamGuard - Read only the mail you want. Many Musgraves end up with the nickname Muskrat. That is my fate. Phil Musgrave http://muskrat.com
