Guest guest
What I like about them (aside from their selection and prices) is the firm stance they have taken against GMO's. It's wild they I can fly from SFO to Boston and have TJ's in both places, but you have to make that haul. I need to get me one of those canvass bags... Scott I wish we had a Trader Joes near us! I went to one when we were down in California on vacation last summer and I loved it. I even bought one of their nice canvas shopping bags and use it to tote my others when I go shopping to pack my food and other items in. The closest one to us is way up in Eugene, OR. and that is quite a hike... been tempted to make the trip lately though! ~ PT ~ Man's extremity is God's opportunity. ~ Scottish proverb ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~> , " Scott Turner " <sturner@t...> wrote: > farmers markets, planetorganics, and trader joes are the primary place I buy our edibles. > > Cheers, > Scott
Guest guest
That's cool. I wasn't aware of their stance on GMOs. Yeah, I guess we just don't live in a big enough city; but I am often glad I don't. TraderJoes is only about 2 & 1/2 hrs away up I-5, so I guess it isn't that bad. Having one in Grants Pass or even down the highway a bit in Medford would be better though! *lol* I think that canvas bag was only $2.50, and it is a very nice sturdy one. I recommend you pick one up. Next time I get there I am buying a few more myself. ~ PT ~ This is my simple religion.Ê There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy.Ê Our own mind, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness. ~ Dalai Lama ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~> , " Scott Turner " <sturner@t...> wrote: > What I like about them (aside from their selection and prices) is the firm stance they have taken against GMO's. > > It's wild they I can fly from SFO to Boston and have TJ's in both places, but you have to make that haul. Guest guest
2 & 1/2 hours is a long long way OMG. If I could live in a country setting I would in a heartbeat though. Guest guest
I was under the impression that all Garden Botanika stores went out of business a few years ago. I think for awhile they tried to be a web-only business, and then I lost track of them. Ruby Honey <rubyhoney97402 wrote:That'd be great, please do!
