Guest guest
Can y'all tell me what brands of pressure cooker that you like? I found one called " Ajika " for sale for $2.49!! That sounds like a great deal. The guy at the web site said that it's about 10 inches across and 8 inches deep; he said he thinks it holds at least a quart. - priscilla Search - Find what you’re looking for faster. Guest guest
I don't own one yet, but eventually I want one. I think that price is very cheap sounding. That could be a very good thing, or a very bad thing. *lol* Maybe one of our resident pressure cooking gurus will give you some advice. :::looks around::: What say ye, pressercooker owners? ~ PT ~ Goodness is the only investment that never fails. ~ Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~> , reptile grrl <reptilegoddess> wrote: > Can y'all tell me what brands of pressure cooker that you like? Guest guest
I was gonna! I have my doubts that you could get a pressure cooker new for less than $20. Although I've bid on ebay stuff on questionable items up to the amount of money I was willing to lose on it. As a matter of fact, I tried getting a pressure cooker off of ebay for about a month before I gave up and just bought one at the store. I got one of those Fagor sets. It has 2 different size pots, one pressure lid and one glass lid that fits both. I use the smaller one the most. I've used it 6 or 8 times so far and had no problems at all. It's easy to clean. The steam release never gets gunked up. It has a really nice heavy bottom. I've never bothered to get one of those flame tamers for my gas stove and I've yet to have problems with food sticking to the bottom. Mine is kind of like this: http://www.appliances.com/x0x2663/1885.html Laura On Mar 10, 2004, at 6:17 PM, ~ PT ~ wrote: > :::looks around::: > What say ye, pressercooker owners? > > ~ PT ~ >
Guest guest
Hi, I have & use a Presto pressure cooker. I don't think that they make they make my model any longer (the super six) but Presto still makes pressure cookers. At some point I will replace mine (got rid of all the Teflon, and now working on getting rid of any aluminum pots) for a stainless steal model) but $2.49 for a pressure cooker??? I would be a little nervous about using that. I did a search on google for Ajika and I can see they make spices and such, but no info on a pressure cooker. Scott Turner R.
