Guest guest
Quite right. I'm betting it is ADM-sponsored High Fructose Corn Syrup industry people planting these anti-sweetener stories all the time. They are absurd. The notion that Equal will embalm you or that Splenda will fill you with poison gas; ludicrous lies focused directly on people's ignorance of basic organic chemistry. For the record, I used Equal extensively but switched to Splenda because it tastes better. I am diabetic. And incidentally, High Fructose Corn Syrup is the single greatest cause of obesity. Do some Googling on it and be shocked at the deception and lies and they calculated attempt to put it into almost everything. Especially check on what it does in the metabolism, how it shoots glycemic index values sky high and screws up the body. This isn't just about adding empty calories, although it does that wonderfully too. And HFCS was added to virtually everything thanks to one guy: The head of Arthur Daniels-Midland. Guest guest
Ok, I have a question for you then. My wife was using Aspartame sweetner regularly and we discovered she was experiencing all the symptoms they mention on all the websites I visited regarding Aspartame products. Since she quit using the stuff, the symptoms have gone away and she feels much better. Now tell me, if the stories about Aspartame are supposedly " Lies " then why all of sudden have my wife's symptoms ceased after she stopped using the product? She was experiencing headaches, fatigue, loss of balance, and other things they listed on the websites I read up on about Aspartame. Now, she no longer feels any of these symptoms. In my opinion, this proves just how bad Aspartame is for human consumption. What does everyone else think? Guest guest
noel, i'm glad your wife is feeling better. i think some people are going to be sensitive to aspartame and others are not. i suppose this goes for all things. different people react to things in different ways. for example, strawberries....i could eat a ton of them with no ill effects....if my friend tracy eat just one it could cause her demise. now, i'm not saying aspartame is health food. if you think it causes problems for you, don't use it. in the may 2004 issue of nutrition action health letter put out by the center for science in the public interest there is an article on sweetners. it states that more and more independent research (not industry funded) is showing that aspartame is not as evil as some claim it is. --- Noel <justice1stright73usa wrote: > Ok, I have a question for you then. Guest guest
I understand what you're saying. Thanks for the kind sentiments:) My wife is definitely feeling much better than ever before:) I know what you mean about people reacting differently than others to certain substances. For example, I heard that Splenda was bad because a woman broke out in red blotches accompanied by other nasty symptoms from the stuff but then I later learned it was most likely an allergic reaction. Not everyone gets the same reaction from using Splenda as that woman did so I figure it's safe enough to use now. From what I have gathered so far, it appears Splenda may be safer than Aspartame in fact. I suppose consuming chlorine is better than formaldehyde anyway. I hope I spelled that word correct hehe:) Noel Message: 10 Tue, 27 Apr 2004 12:57:47 -0700 (PDT) " artichoke72x " <artichoke72x Re: Sour Tastes for Sweeteners is All Industrial Propaganda noel, i'm glad your wife is feeling better. i think some people are going to be sensitive to aspartame and others are not. i suppose this goes for all things. different people react to things in different ways. for example, strawberries....i could eat a ton of them with no ill effects....if my friend tracy eat just one it could cause her demise. now, i'm not saying aspartame is health food. if you think it causes problems for you, don't use it. in the may 2004 issue of nutrition action health letter put out by the center for science in the public interest there is an article on sweetners. it states that more and more independent research (not industry funded) is showing that aspartame is not as evil as some claim it is.
