Guest guest
Leia, I wanted to share my experience yesterday with you. My sister had a party for her son's first birthday and the food consisted of salad, ziti, chicken, meatballs, sausage and peppers and cheese and chicken chimichongas. I didn't say anything and agreed that the food looked great. I made a plate of salad and ate it really slowly, my family believes that being vegetarian is abnormal. They kept telling me to have the meat. I didn't say a word this time about not eating meat. I waited a while until the pressure died down and just said that I was enjoying salad first. I already had some cheese and grapes before I left for their house, so I wasn't starving. Then a little later I had some ziti. It all worked out great, no hassles from the family and no meat-eating out of pressure for me! I had decided that I was sticking to my principals, no matter what it took, but thankfully it all worked out great. I know that your situation is harder than mine, because you're with your family all the time, but I wanted to share with you. You're doing great! Guest guest
LoL, wow, last night we had a birthday party too. One of our most special doggies (and they are all pretty special of course) turned 4 years old yesterday and we had pizza and cheesey bred, and chicken wings, and red velevet cake. yummmmm. Raven has almost died twice in in the last year (poor baby!) so we figured she definitly deserved a party. I was kinda forced into eating meat last night b/c to my mother it is a sin to have a pizza with pepperoni (spelling?) and it's hard to pick that off a pizza without loosing all the cheese. Nobody bothered to ask what I might like on (or off) the pizza. I could have fixed myself something else but I was being lazy. I did give pull some of it off and gave it to Raven but I was pretty hungry so I didn't share much lol. Gosh I really hope we go out to eat tonight. I sooo tired today for reasons unknown and I just don't feel like cooking at all. Maybe it's horrid of me but I'm already sick of my relatives. It's a lot harder to cook meals with them in mind. When it's just me I can put pepper on just about anything and call it a meal. lol ~Leia , SueD <somehappierstar> wrote: > Leia, > I wanted to share my experience yesterday with you.
