No joke, but the Neocons and PKers and so on do indeed use vegetarianism

as one of the signs of dreaded " liberalism " and thus mark people who are

veggie as " the enemy " .

 

Here in Nebraska it's meatland, and Neocon to the bone. We're the only

mono-cameral state in the alleged country, and yes, it's REPUBLICAN.

Vegetarians here are considered just short of communist traitors. (They

are stuck in the 1930s for much of their references.) The hostility is

such that some restaurants actually offer " vegetarian " fare into which

they sneak non-veggie ingredients, almost as if to punish us.
