Guest guest
It's been a while since I made stroganoff, but I used the Worthington Vegetable steaks. I sliced them up into thin pieces. Rinse it well. Worthington Choplets would be good sliced up thin. I'm thinking that the Worthington/Loma Linda Prime Steak or Swiss Stake Patties could also be sliced up thin and I would use the gravy they come in, in the recipe. I'll have to see if I can find my recipe for this and send it in. I tried making beef stroganoff with boca crumbles, but that did not work. Any ideas for stroganoff? Audrey On 8/11/08, wwjd <jtwigg wrote: > > Hey Mindy, > That's ok. Guest guest
Another great substitute for stroganoff is " Soy Curls " . This is a product that is made strictly from the soy bean and is delicious. You can't fine it a lot of places, but if you go to the manufactorers web site, they have a list for each state of places that sell them. They are made by Butler Foods. www.butlerfoods.com I have been eating these for about 3 years now and they are perfect for stroganoff! Judy C.
