Guest guest
I know all I've done lately is talk about meat substitutes -- but I just tried Burger King's veggie burger the other day and it's great! Apparently, all Burger Kings have them, but they're not necessarily on the drive-thru menu because of space issues. You can ask to have it microwaved to keep it off the grill (that everything goes on). I don't eat much fast food, but I do like Taco Bell's bean burritos (no lard in Taco Bell's beans), Subway (their veggie patties are great), and Wendy's baked potatoes. Jimmy John's sandwiches are a favorite, but the calorie count is awful! Backyard Burgers has a good veggie burger, but the one down the street from me closed. So Burger King is my new favorite restaurant!! The fries aren't great, but that's ok, I don't need them. Audrey

Didn't think I'd like it, but I did.
Guest guest
Not all Subways have the veggie patty -- it's on the menu, under " Local Flavor " or something like that. They are very good. I'm in the suburbs of Kansas City, Kansas. I know at least two of them closed, and two are still open -- but the one that was literally across the street from me closed. They put a Church's Chicken in that building, which benefits me a lot -- not! BUT, there is now a Jimmy John's next door to the Church's, which is great!! Jimmy John's vegetarian sandwich has provolone cheese, avocado, mayo, cucumber, tomato, and sprouts. The bread is the best part Audrey On Sun, Oct 5, 2008 at 12:23 PM, leslie <onlyoneme wrote: > Hi Audrey, > I like Burger King's veggie burger, too.I didn't know that Subway had > veggie patties.
