Guest guest
Oh! I used regular. And you might want to cook the lentils 30 min. so they'll be really soft. Just add a smidge more water so they don't boil dry. Let me know what you think. I loved it! Veronica At 07:13 PM 1/20/2005 -0800, you wrote: >That sounds great. I'll try this soon. I love lentils. We, sight seers, went to the Art Institute (love Impressionist Art) and then went shopping at Water Tower Place and along the Magnificent Mile. Chaos! I didn't like how crowded the streets were with honking buses, cabs and cars, or the sidewalks, packed with shoving pedestrians! Hope your experience is more peaceful! Me, David, the " non-cook! Guest guest
I use redwoods things quite often. They are really tasty and make an easy dinner. The ready to eat sausages and chicken-style pieces are easy to use when you are feeling ultralazy and also for taking on picnics or when travelling. Guest guest
This sounds so good. Kohlrabi is delicious. I grate it and make a good patty. Donna Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry " Michelle Dixon " <Petagoatjunction Mon, 29 Jun 2009 03:55:33 Dinner tonight I steamed some coarsely chunked: Kohlrabi 2 small potatoes 4 small carrots 1/4 onion The last couple of minutes I added the sliced kohlrabi greens. I served all this over whole wheat pasta cooked in vegetable broth with a dressing of balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, minced garlic and ginger. Guest guest
The lentil loaf sounds delicious! You're brave -- I won't try a new recipe for company, b/c they usually turn out wrong and that makes me way too nervous! I tried a new recipe the other night when I had a friend (and her dog) over for supper -- not really " company " It was just very bland, we had to doctor it up quite a bit. I felt really bad, told her next time I had her over I would make something I knew was good! Audrey S.
