That's the first thing a doctor will push off on a person when they aren't feeling well or have the flu. Now you know and you can learn in here with the rest of us. I gave my kids Jello thinking I was givng them something healthy , unil I looked at the ingredients . It is almost 100% sugar and artificial colors and flavors. Many vitamin caps are made with gelatin. There are exceptions from the health food market and they will plainly state no animal ingredients or Vegan approved.
