Here I pay a couple of dollars for a 3 or 4 ounce bottle of sea salt, but kosher salt comes in a one pound box. I don't use that much salt, so its been awhile since I've bought one, but the price tag on the box looks like it says $3.89. Either that or its $2.89...... I use the kosher salt but I have been reading to use the celtic sea salt because toe sodium is lower and it contains trace minerals. I have not had the chance to buy any yet.
